Impressed Current System (ICCP)

The Impressed Current System (ICCPs) is an advanced and active corrosion control method for pipelines and metal structures. Unlike sacrificial anodes, ICCPs utilizes an external power source to generate a controlled electric current, actively inhibiting corrosion. This approach allows for adjustable protection levels, precise control, and adaptability to diverse environments. The system's features, including extended service life, suitability for various scenarios, and monitoring capabilities, make it a preferred choice for critical infrastructure projects.

AC Mitigation System

AC mitigation is a complementary strategy often used alongside cathodic protection to address challenges posed by alternating current (AC) interference in pipelines and metal structures. While cathodic protection primarily focuses on direct current (DC) corrosion prevention, AC mitigation specifically targets issues from AC sources, such as power lines. This combined approach ensures comprehensive corrosion control, preserving the protective potential, minimizing interference effects, and enhancing the longevity of infrastructure. AC mitigation involves installing devices like AC mitigation mats or coatings to manage stray currents and maintain the effectiveness of cathodic protection systems.
